Germany here we come (again...)

Tjuhuuu,

We left Vaerloese on Monday morning and spent two days in the car driving intensively. We drove though Storebelts bridge and Jylland to arrive to Germany after some hours in the camper. In Germany we didnt drive though Hamburg but crossed the Elbe with a ferry from Glyckstadt, and that was fun! =) Then for the night we drove to Cuxhaven - quite a touristic little town next to big beaches in notrh. Next morning we hit the road again, and drove all the way to Amsterdam Zeeburg camping. What a hilarious place! All the buildings are pastel- and multicoloured with even a little zoo in the  campingsite. Goats and chickens, rooster and little chicklings. Cute all of them except we have our camping site next to it and we have this relatively intensive goatsmell just outside =)

Yesterday we spent the whole day in the Amsterdam city biking and walking around. Biking itself is super handy way to get around (as always) but here in Amsterdam if you dont drive fast enough, if you dont drive on the right bike lane, or if you do everything right then you might get overdriven.. Maniac! And nobody uses helmet either. Not even the kids, even if parents have loaded them on their bikes, but apparently the kids learn the biking strategy early =) But the city itself is cool and lot of fun. The best place ever to do the people studies and its really nice just walk around and look. I think it might be truly horrible place in the summer time when the city is packed with english tourists since even now we had quite some of them. But when you walk two block away from the shopping streets then its nice and quiet again.

For a dinner yesterday we went for a nice small local restaurant that we spotted from the outskirts of the city centre. On our next table was sitting an american couple that was traveling in Europe. They had been in Italy in Cinque Terre and recommended us to visit there, lets see ;o) Also we got their contact so if we ever end up going to Vermont then for sure we will go and visit them!

Unlike yesterday when we had a sunshiny and nice day in the city, today it seems to rain a lot, so we'd better continue our ride back to the German side. Still we dont know if we will meet Rene (Burnos friend) and if yes then we will be in Düsseldorf tomorrow. If not then we might make it to Marionskis place already today.. Lets see ;o)

But now we have to eat some breakfast, since this camping here is the first one with check-out time, and thats in one hour at twelve =)

Sorry still no pictures even from Denmark, but they definitely will come sooner or later =)

*kramkram* to all!
