Tha last photos from our journey

Here you go,

The last photos from Brunos camera. I just wrote a long text about the feelings and self-studies that this autumn has offered to me. Then i pushed something from the keyboard and it all disappeared.. Well, im not going to write it again here anyhow. Enjoy the pictures and all you in Finland - see u soon!

Davide. Laura, me and Bruno in Davides and Lauras place

Hanging bridge in Toscana

Feet and the river

Pikku lizard in Maijas palm - cute, no?

Perfect parking place in Bonassola, Cinque Terre - between the cliffs and the sea..

Our BBQ-dinner on top of the bunker in the Italian sunset in November - not bad ;o)

Cinque Terre - one of the villages there

Now look at the dreamy view from the hills down to the sea..

Some stone art one guy did on the beach of Bonassola. The stones are just placed on top of each other and they stay like this (or not) with the balance. Quite nice :)

During the three days in Bonassola beach this served as our shower. First a swim in the sea and then washing with the water hose that came from the cliff, jeje..

Evening view from the C.Car window still in Bonassola

On our way up from Cinque Terre to PAvia we stopped by in the Genova aquarium. Really nice fishes! I felt a bit bad for the big marine mammals and the turtle though, but the fish were lovely.

They also had manaatti there, dont know the name in english, sorry. This one is just one of the jellyfishes.

In the French side we went to see one of the Canyons close to Nice. What a view - again :)

This is what you have to do in the campings to get the wlan working. Only problem is that in my compu the battery is super bad, it lasts maybe three and half minutes. So i just managed to open my mail and see some of the pictures my sister sent me, and then the battery died.

Cute alley in a small town on the coast close to Spain
French flamingos in the place where Bruno always came with his family when he was small.

Well, truly we dont have many pictures from Barcelona. This one is the traditional one from Tibidabo towards the whole city - with Masai the dog :)

Sonia, Laya, me and Bruno in Tibidabo

Well done catalans! This text was written on the wall of one of the biggest banks in Spain (if i remember right) in Plaza Catalunya. "This is not crisis, its called capitalism". Well they got that one right!

Our first sleep-over guests in the C.Car - Sanja and Mikael in Ribes

Picture taken by Bruno almost in the middle of the night from the camping place in Ribes. The stars and the snowy mountain looks really funny.

Up up up towards Nuria

On our way down we came along the cremallera track since the train didnt run on November.

We had to also cross some fences since technically our way down was closed..

Sanja, Mikael, me and Bruno in the montañas!

C.Car in snow on our way to Puigcerda tunnel to cross the Pyrenees

This is how beautiful and lovely the weather was in the Spanish side of the Pyrenees...

...and after some kilometers in the tunnel, the French side looked like this!

Atlantic ocean and the beach in Vieux Boucau...

...and some abandoned beach houses in the same place.

And this is how we made the garden to look like in Talence after rainy days driving back and forth with the camping cars, whoops...

And this is today when we decorated a piparitalo with Francine - what a nice hose it became!

...correction to the previous one...

Whooops.. Im a bit out of the blue and messed up the days. Today is 5th and not 6th... I noticed it now when i tried to see the Linnanjuhlat (the presidents party and reception) from internet, and the Areena page didnt open. So Happy Independence Day for all the Finns IN ADVANCE for tomorrow! And enjoy the extra holiday day as well ;o)

Bordeaux II

Heippa all,

Still in Bordeaux, sitting on the new sofa in the little house on the back yard. Almost all renovation is done, some walls i have to paint still. It has been more than fun to do something with my own hands and to see how the result builds up to be something quite nice =) Also staying in place for a bit longer time has been more than lovely, sleeping in a proper bed, eating the lunch and the dinner with the family and meeting friends. Just perfect!

Now since i have a sofa where to sit i loaded the photos from my camera on the compu and i will put some of them now here for you to see. Later when i have time and motivation ill do the same with Brunos camera and then you can see his side of the happenings ;o)

Anyhow enjoy the Sunday, and Happy Independence Day to all the Finns! I definitely have to watch the Linnanjuhlat from Yle Areena =)

*bisous*

Kayaking in the Mediterranean in Cinque Terre

a cave where we entered with the kayak - spooky..

one of the five small villages in Cinque Terre

Uuuuuuh... look at all the kiwis, namnam :)

one more of the five villages

The steep cliffs where the hiking path went. In the middle of olive trees and wine bushes

Humm.. For some reason i had absolutely no pictures taken after we left from Cinque Terre (Italy) and before we went hiking to Nuria (Spain). Well, maybe Bruno has taken some pics, since this is already a view from the Pyrenees on our way up to Nuria

Mikael and Sanja looking down to the snow-covered and closed Nuria

Bruno and Claire on the door steps of the Foix castle in France

Picture from one tower to the other

For the second night in France after Spain we went to sleep in a parking place in a small city in Pays Basque. The city was totally empty and we ended up drinking extremely bad (Spanish!) cider, but i got quite a nice picture of the flooding river that ran through the town.

The first view to Atlantic Ocean

The tracks that the down-tide (laskuvesi) had created in the sand in the beach

And here are some pictures (dab though..) from the first aperitive in the renovated little house with Francine, Francois, Bruno, Claire and me. Other Bruno and Hanne joined us a bit later.
